Valiam Films

Valiam Films is a newly established film production company concentrating on localized themes and issues around the countries of the Mediterranean. Therefore the aim of the visual identity was to represent the common factors connecting the north mediterranean; social cohesion, history and culture.

The Mediterranean complexity is well represented by the ancient theatres - around 900 have already been catalogued in the Mediterranean basin, which could constitute a potential cultural network founded upon a common history and continuous cultural and social exchanges.

Ancient Greco-Roman theatres reflect the original concept and the first stages of development of the theatre (6th centrury BC) which constantly enriched with new elements continues to this day in the form of the modern day theatre and hence the movie theatre /cinema.
